2019 Ram 1500 classic noise after cam lifter swap but no codes

2019 ram 1500 classic 5.7 MDS Delete, Changed cam and lifters, unlocked and programmed. Still have ticking issues no codes present. What could be the issue?

Push Rods or not getting enough oil, I'm not sure which you prefer either is bad. MDS as undesirable it is provides more oil.

If it gets worse it's probably push rods and needs fixing.

Look at the lubrication threads, certain additives and base oils work well in lower lubricated areas, those that plate and hunt metal.

Did you dyi? Many times shops wont hand spin engine to double check push rods are in cup.
