If we both moved in on either side of @GsRAM it would cost him a lot in beer and bourbon [emoji16]Be careful what you wish for.

Well it was actually a hunting trip. My son had a bull elk tag here in NV in mid Nov. The snow just kept falling but we got it done.

My wife and I thought we bought our dream house, brand new with custom stuff, but at the end of a dead end street. As it turned out, every single night adults and kids were in the street like it was disneyland. Man, I hated it, we ended up moving to the country at the top of the hill end of the street, now we don't see anyone 6 mos at a time. I like meeting with like minded people, but I tell you these days there is something radically different then old school people. I say you got to get a feeling for the people that camp next to you, if they are cool then you will have the best time of your life, if they are not like minded, you aren't even safe, bug out.

Same thing happened to us when we bought our last house 28 years ago. Bought brand new and wasn't even built yet, in a court with clear no exit signs. First fifteen years were great, only one family with kids and never saw them. Then it changed, most original owners moved out and within five years it was a **** show. Screaming kids all day and night, loud cars, loud music and constant turn arounds. Couldn't take anymore and sold it after 26 years and moved into our 40' diesel pusher motorhome as a temp solution until I retire in two more years, then it's out of California for a piece of land somewhere. Wherever it is it will big enough to not hear ****!
