In 2017 FCA decreased the fed emission warranty from 8/80 down to 5/50. I forgot about that. I don't think it has anything to do with the state though.

some years i believe also got the warranty extended after emission's related recalls. My 2024 is 5/50 for emissions but i bought the extended coverage so I'm covered on 100% of my truck minus wearables until 120k

They did... if you got it done. I haven't dug into specifically what the extended warranty covers though.

You should check the fine print on what is not covered. If you bought the Mopar extended warranty, it does not cover 100%. It does not even cover all the things the 3/36 B2B factory warranty covers. And it explicitly says it does not cover particulate filters.
