I have a 2023 1500 Big Horn with Etorque, drove to town this morning and truck ran perfectly fine. Got in it to leave this afternoon and it is completely dead, no dash lights, no dome lights, no power to seats, nothing. Any ideas what could be going on?

Check cables insure tight.
Check positive from battery into fuse block for TIPM.

Might just be bad battery also or something in the e torque system. Hopefully battery or cable.

Put a new battery in it and it was still completely dead, checked the battery to make sure it wasn’t defective and it was fine. Currently my truck is just a big paper weight with only 38k miles on it. Had to have it towed to the dealership. I don’t understand how it drove perfectly fine 5 hours prior to this?? Anyone ever experience this?

I suspect it’s the RF hub. Similar thing happened to me on our 2020 Limited a couple years ago. The only thing that appeared to have power was the alarm lol. That was fun.

Oh no! I bet that was a ton of fun. Is the RF hub an expensive fix? My warranty just ran out 2k ago‍♂️

IDK how much it cost to repair. It happened with about 2 months left on the warranty so it was covered, along with the rear window replacement. The rear window leaked and the water ran down the rear wall of the cab and took out the RF hub. I think the part is under $300. If you replace it yourself you’ll need to have the dealership program it before it will work.

Thank you for the info! I really hope it’s something easy like that

The worst part was the three month wait for the part because they were on back order. I have no idea of availability on that part now. Your dealership should be able to tell you pretty quickly if that's the problem.

DID U check and see if there was power between the battery cable and TIPM at the pinout? Cause that one bad battery cable take out the whole truck. But since at the dealership, please report back. As stated, RF Hub "maybe", if it is the RF Hub, think about whole new rear window replacement also if there is water intrusion, whenever the dealership reports back.

@mikeru
OP: This may be the part number RF Hub: Not sure if applicable for your year but they are available Mopar Parts: Just FYI: 68207778AB.

I will report back after I hear from dealership. It was just the oddest thing for it run fine and then be 100% dead…with a brand new battery.

I think @mikeru got it. Tho ground may be off somewhere or positive to TIPM bad. Kinda symptoms since battery good of bad cable/connection or rf hub

Did u even go under truck and see if cables connected to starter and solenoid?

All moot points now. Now just wait fer dealer report and wallet pain.

What's the bet we have water intrusion from the rear slider window!!!
Say it not so. That was supposed to be addressed since he had a 2023 but U know.

I had my entire rear glass assembly replaced under extended warranty.

Plenty of '23 owners have seen issues with rear window leaks. Ram/Stellantis may have addressed the window frame cracks but there are people who have had rear window leaks not related to window frame cracks.

Does the 2022 have the same issues? And if so how do you tell if it’s leaking? I live in Oregon so it rains a lot.

I had a dead battery on the very day I was going to see DR on our 2021 etourque. was parked on sloping driveway but could not get it out of park or release the auto set park brake , so could not get other car out of garage. Two days late I replaced the battery from Costco for $200, every thing working fine since. I don't park so close to garage door any more.

Got truck back today. Dealership said there was a loose wire at the bottom of the battery and a loose ground-also needed 2 software updates. Truck is running good as of today. Still questioning how the ground and other wire came loose-very odd.
