2025 2500 Tradesman gooseneck?

I’m trying to find information on adding a gooseneck hitch to this truck. The Mopar prep kit - 82215840AB - shows only through 2024 and is discontinued. My local trailer shop says B&W had only tested their product through 2024 model year, although they expect it to work; but to dry fit it first.

My dealer is playing pass-the-buck, and the trailer shop won’t order a kit for stock if I don’t purchase it. But I can’t purchase the truck if it can’t tow gooseneck. I’ve search the forums and online, and see were others have asked this, but the only answers are speculation. I can find no one with a 2025 2500 Tradesman that can answer.

So can anyone here? Any help appreciated.

Wow. If the dealer is not willing to go the extra mile to figure this out then I'd suggest a different dealer. They're willing to lose a sale to something this small maybe you're better off not using them?

According to eTrailer, they offer the B&W for a 2025. I believe the 2024/2025 2500 bodies and frames are identical unless I've missed something.



If it doesn't fit, send it back. eTrailer has great customer service.

Went this am to test drive 2025 2500 4x4 cc. This truck had the 5th wheel tow package. I saw holes drilled in bed w/plugs installed. I do not need 5th wheel so did not look under bed. So there is one available.

Just bought a 2025 Laramie a few weeks ago and dealer said they would get me the fifth wheel prep package at their cost, now they are saying they cannot get one.

So will the dealer take the pickup back since you can't tow with it? What is their resolution to this. When I ordered my 2021, I ordered the factory hitch prep. To me a 2500 that can't be fitted for a 5th wheel or Gooseneck is pretty much a joke. May as well have bought the 1500 and had the better ride.

06 you are correct SOL. Since all of my trailers are bumper pull I'm good with the towing package that it came with. My grandson has a fifth wheel that I have moved twice and I have picked up some pocket money moving some others. But that being said I am going to be on the look out for the prep package.
