2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn - cannot find parts.

So I was in an accident a few months ago, someone hit me. Their insurance paid for it, but it took 2 months to get the repairs done because the bumper and headlights were back ordered. 2 weeks after getting my truck back I came out of a convenience store and someone had again hit my brand new front bumper and left a small 3 inch ding in the bumper. No cameras, so I am left to handle this on my own. A few days later I was at Walmart and some scumbag took one of the stupid little nostril grill inserts.

If I am going to buy a bumper out of pocket I would much rather get an after market bumper with some better styling. I cannot seem to find a single thing online. Has anyone located anything yet?

As for the grill insert, I checked all of the mopar part stores online and they don't sell just the nostril insert, you have to buy the entire grill assembly. Would RAM really not allow that plastic chrome piece to be replaced? Its barely event held in there with plastic clips, I would think people are going to lose these and it would make sense to be able to purchase them.

I’ll assume your front bumper with the 3 inch scratch is the type with the plastic bumper cover not chrome. I’ve found that many auto detailing shops can fill in the scratch and paint the area with excellent results and lower prices than replacement. Paintless dent repair shop’s typically offer this service. A good paint guy can make a patch look new again for a lot less. As for the grill insert have you tried eBay or salvage yards for the part?

I should have specified it is a chrome bumper. I am not attached to chrome. I got a great deal on the truck with the chrome and I am going to get my truck wrapped, so I knew the chrome would never actually get shown anyhow... I am really looking for aftermarket bumper options, something off road like... I can get the dent knocked out of the chrome, and I would be fine with that since the chrome is getting covered. I am really looking for an aftermarket bumper.

Why not have the chrome stripped off, repair the bumper and paint it body color or color of choice? Although, on my 2016, somebody got the left bedside and a ding in the bumper, the shop tried to tell me they don't repair steel bumpers! So, I asked what the difference between the bumper and sheet metal was. I did not get an answer. I went somewhere else! Find a small mom & pop shop, they are usually more than willing to work with you.

Parts will be coming it is like that with every new vehicle. I am still waiting on a windshield sun screen, and for them to modify the bedstep (the 24s did not fit properly) hopefully they will be coming soon.

You should have checked with your insurance company. A legally parked car is covered for hit and run under your property damage coverage. I lost a bumper on my last Ram and it was covered and my rates did not go up.
Talk about waiting for parts....a buddy has one of those 3 cylinder buicks leased. It got rear ended and has been waiting for a whole new tailgate to come in for 3 months. The body shop at the dealer has been covering him on a loaner this entire time.
