35's with bils..tire shop said no!!

I just installed Bilsteins set at 2.8 in the front and 1" TGC spacer in the rear. Still need tires and rims, planning on running 20x10 Fuel Couplers -12 or -24 and 35x12.5x20.

Sorry if this scenario has been covered...
Just bought the Bil's 5100 and am about to place an order for Nitto ridge grapplers in 35 11.5 20 to put on my stock chrome clad rims. Will I have any rubbing with this set up? I DO NOT want spacers. I tow a 18ft pontoon twice a year, once in the lake and once out about 20 miles one way so towing isn't really an issue. Would 275/65/20 be a better option? 34.1 inches diameter vs 35. Will it make it look too small?

I went with 305/55/20

275/65/20 is a pretty skinny tire. I wanted more width so i went with 12 wide

Depending on what you set the bils at you should be fine.
I believe atleast a setting of 2.1 will be needed, the 11 inch wide tire should not rub on the a arms.

I am fan of a slight rake so I planned to run somewhere between 2.1 and 2.5.

I have my bilsteins set to 2.1 and I just bought a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in 275-65-20 and couldn't be happier.
