4.7 engine swap

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 with a 4.7 V8 engine. Long story short, I am wanting to find out if I am able to swap it with a 5.7 V8. I’ve seen some places where people say it’s possible but I figured I come to the forums for the real answers.

From what I have seen Its really not worth it however anything can be done if you have tons of $$$ to blow. It would be cheaper to just sell it and buy a hemi when the market settles down its not a easy swap you will need new wire harnesses computers motor mounts ect list goes on.

"what if" they have a nice clean truck that has a bad engine? Not worth anything on trade anyways. so in the sense of making something out of nothing, is this a feasible swap? what IS involved? Trans bell housing pattern match or would someone need motor AND trans from donor? Torque converter? I'm used to much older Dodges. these 4.7s and 5.7s are brand new territory for me.

Have you considered replacing with another 4.7 ?
