46RE OD piston retainer

I have decided to go thru the 46RE in a 97 truck I bought out of AZ. I noticed the OD piston retainer shows some galling on the nose of the hub. Should this be replaced? Any upgrades to lube this better? I was thinking the 47RE had bigger oils holes in the intermediate shaft. Thanks.

I would prob replace it but and it seems you probably know more about the inner workings lol.

Check CascadeTransmissionParts.com and see what they have. Also check sonnax they usually have the upgraded versions of parts.
