4WD issue

Good evening, I have a 2020 ram 1500 with the 3.6 V6. Today I noticed when I turned the car on, both the 4wd high and 4wd low were blinking and would not let me shift into 2wd or any other drive configuration. I then followed a previous suggestion on the forums unplugging the battery and after doing so the lights stopped blinking and the light was consistent and was in 2wd like it was when I parked it the first time. I then tried to engage the 4wd and heard a fast pace clicking noise coming from under the truck and would not engage. Then after about 3 seconds the 4wd high and low light flashed again like it did before. I am wondering what the issue is. Im thinking and actuator or something of that nature but asking for suggestions in the event someone else ran into this issue.

Using a GOOD scanner, check the module for codes.

Was there snow packed up under. My 22 did this when buried deep in snow.Left the truck snow shoed in came back luckily had warmed up and it worked. Don’t ya just love new tech trucks lol!
