4wd service light

my 2010 just turned over 22,000. now the service 4wd light is on. any ideas why. i've never used the 4wd. i don't treat my pickup bad. i need ideas before i go to the dealer.

Welcome to ram forum. I don't have any ideas....never had an issue with my 4 wheel drive, but i do use it in the winter.

screwed that up didn't i.
dealer said the problem is a switch that is being recalled.
and they gotta order the part.

Hadn't heard of the issue but glad they are taking care of it.

i guess it wasn't a switch. the transfer case control module had to be replaced.
