4x4 light blinks

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 4.7L 4x4. I replaced the transfer case motor and the actuator and my 4x4 light is blinking, when I switch it to hi or low still blinking and not kicking into 4x4? Anyone knows if I need a computer update? Thank you in advance

Was it blinking before you replaced the motor?

Snakeyes thank you for responded to my post light was blinking, it didn't switch over at all when I switch it into 4x4 hi or low, I tryed putting the truck in neutral and press the rest button. So I bought a new switch , installed the switch reconnect the battery, and no light still. So then I bought the actuclator disconnected the battery installed the new front actuclator , reconnect the battery try the 4x4 again , and nothing. So then I bought the new transfer case motor switch installed the new transfer case motor switch reconnect the battery and the 4x4 light was blinking, so I put the truck in neutral once again, press and hold the neutral button on the 4x4 switch release it and no 4x4 and the 4x4 light still blinks
