Anyone else with the 5.0 radio have a hard time with Bluetooth?

It takes a long time to connect with my phone and when I try to call someone I have to repeat myself a few times before it works.

I have/had a few vehicles with 8.4 radios and never had this problem.

No I had a 5.0 and it worked great. I upgraded to the RA4 and it works great as well. I have heard of people having similar issues with the RA2 RA3 and RA4. It just seems to be hit and miss with these things.

Yes, I am constantly saying phone numbers over. Cancelling and starting again. When it does connect, it take longer than it should. This is on my 2015 and had issues as well on my 2011.

I have a 2015 RA2 5.0 in my 2014 truck , I have no problems with Bluetooth or voice .
My only issue is occasionally when I get in my truck and Bluetooth connects it doesn't connect to text messages? I can just delete my phone and add it again , this works every time .

Sometimes I have the same problem. What I've noticed is that voice commands will not work until your phone contacts have loaded which takes mine 3-4 minutes after starting the truck. So, I can't use voice until truck has been connected for a while. Other issue I suspect is the distance from the mic or mic gain and lack of adjustment. Folks seem to have a hard time hearing me talk unless I lean way forward with my head close to the rear view mirror. I installed a Clarion system in my older truck and it had a mic gain adjustment to compensate for different driver positions, but sadly our trucks don't seem to have this (that I can find anyway).

I might upgrade later, but for now I'll just deal with it. Thanks for the input everyone.
