I just bought a new Ram Tradesman 3500 truck and it came with the Mopar 30 installed using the puck system. It is actually made by Curt and is their a30 hitch. It can tow 30,000 lb and has a vertical rating/tongue rating of 7,000 lb. What ever you buy do not forget to check the tongue rating. I tried removing it and the pucks where easy to get out. The total weight of it is 183 lb but when removing it is in 2 parts each heavy but not too bad. It is lighter than my previous b&w companion hitch and it also comes out easier. If removing your hitch is something you often do then this one may be for you. Next week I will actually tow my 15,000 lb/ 4000lb tongue weight Grand Design Solitude with it. I will let you know how it tows.
