Really wanting to put the 6.1 intake on my 5.7. Is this possible? I'm going to assume its not just because its what I want lol.

Also, anyone have an opinion on loud mufflers? I have a typical dual out flowmaster system and its just lame at this point. I don't wanna sound like every other 50 yr old man with a mieneke exhaust. Thanks.

D is running a 6.1 intake. You will need the front bracket kit from Inertia, intake spacers, fuel line extenders and make your own intake or something to work. You will also need to ditch the clutch fan and run an electric. Short story yes its possible but $$$.

I thought of doing it for show because I have access to 90% of the parts, but TRQ is gonna change out for upper end HP. The 6.1 intake looks killer, the car flows a tad better.

Yeah, I was really wanting to do it mostly for the pure aesthetics of it and it just looks like it flows better. Are aftermarket heads worth the $$ or will a port and polish of the stock heads suffice?

Give us a list of your current mods. Head work is gonna require tuning, when you do heads might as well slip in a cam because its right there looking at you when you pull the front cover.

Right now I've just got intake, crappy exhaust and intune. Sounds like I have piston slap so I'm considering buying a daily and pulling the hemi for a full rebuild which would include a cam and head(work) then maybe some spray.

If you think you have slap then yeah go ahead and pull it and do a freshen up/ over haul. Heads/cam/machine work/misc parts and fluids budget around $3500-$4500 if your building it. The BV heads are a good chunk of that.
