6.4 Availability

I recently custom ordered a 2015 6.4 2500 Laramie, but find it interesting that after visiting several dealerships within a 50 mile radius of where I live, there are very few, if any 6.4s on any of the lots. I've been to dealerships that will have 20+ 2500 diesels but not a single 6.4. Is it because the 6.4 HD trucks just arent very desired, or becuase they are getting snatched up as soon as they hit the dealerships?

The dealership I work with has very few also. That is because as soon as they come in they are gone, or they are already ordered for a customer. In my experience it's because they are very popular.

There was a few up here amongst the dealers but mostly higher trim levels. 2500s in general are a lot harder to find. If I wanted a 1500 each dealer had like 30.

I did a quick check of Dave Smith's 2500 inventory. They have 66 2500s with the 6.4 in varying trim levels, but they have 256 2500s with the Diesel engine!
For those not familiar with Dave Smith in Kellogg ID., they are the largest Chrysler/Dodge dealer in the country and sell GMC/Chevy also. They sell over 1,000 vehicles a month and offer great prices!
