6.4 Hemi - Larger Replacement Tank!!

I wanted this thread to get all of the attention it can so I apologize if you thought there was a tank available already. No ill intentions!

After speaking with Transferflow, they have made it obvious that they are paying attention to the HD gas truck market. Between our 6.4, the Ford 7.3 and 6.2 and the others out there, the need for larger fuel tanks is becoming a more pressing issue.

What he told me was to have as many people as possible to go to the Transferflow website, and click on the "Contact" menu. Then select "Suggest A Product" and enter in the information. The more people who do so will push this higher up the priority list.

They already make 45 gallon tanks for the Tundra and the F-150 gas engines, so it is a possibility. We just need to make them aware that we want it!!

I carry 3 5 gallon gas cans in bed so I can refuel on potty breaks.
Would be ******* awesome to take a break instead of fueling up.

Right now I can barely afford to fill up the stock tank!!!

But a bigger tank for towing would be great. I get about 200 mile range with the TT in tow. Not leaving much room for error finding gas stations that I can fit into with a 35' trailer.

My 94 F150 had 2 30+/- gallon tanks... not sure why a truck the size of these Rams only has on small tank.

First auxiliary gasoline tank I have seen that solves the gravity feed problem.

I guess this makes me glad I went with the EcoDiesel 3.0 with the 33 gallon tank on my 1500. Range when towing the 6500 lb travel trailer is about 350 to 400 miles.

interesting comment.

Seems like an apples to oranges comparison. If We cut our trailers in half We could probably get a bit better mileage. And not need a larger fuel tank.

Speaking of gas tank size on 2018 2500. What is the actual size?My specs say 31 gallons but i have never been able to reach that number even close to empty with light on.

I ordered my 2021 HD with the 50 gallon tank. Only 300.00 charge. Fastastic to get 800+ mile range empty.
