6.4 truck intake manifold and 6.4 stock air box is installed. Currently running 5.7 injectors with spacers. Now need to get a tune so I can swap in the 6.4 injectors and delete mds. May just have to buy a pcm from diablo... wanted to just unlock mine but may have to go the easy route. Can’t let my truck be down anytime soon. For anyone interested the 5.7 fuel rail does fit but needs a new hose for the crossover. Was a 5/16 high pressure fuel and transmission line. Also, drilled and tapped the 6.4 manifold to run my catch can. There is no way stock on the 6.4 manifold to run a catch can. If you look in the pictures you can see I drilled the egr blockoff plate and install a 1/2” barbed 90° fitting with a 1/4npt thread into the blockoff plate. The pvc side I drilled into the stock pcv housing and tapped it for another 1/2” barbed straight fitting with a 1/4” npt thread and just plug the stock vacuum port into the manifold so it only sucks through the catch can. Either jb weld or another form of putty should be good as long as it’ll harden and adhere to plastic. Posted in my build thread as well. This is with plans to install a aev snorkel in the future.

Been trying to find the hose that goes from intake tube to manifold. I can't find one like yours. Please post link or part #.
Appreciate it!

I also got to swap the fuel rails around and put new seals on the injectors.

Yea... I had stock Goodyear’s going up an on ramp in pouring rain. Not even accelerating hard since it was raining. Ended up going sideways up the ramp. Thankfully I maintained control up the ramp. That was the last straw for those stock Goodyear’s. Scared me half to death.
Stock SRA's, OMFG. I drove over to my Neighbors house, had rained earlier. He has dirt and gravel and grass area driveway. The only way I could get moving was in 4 wheel and and heavier gas pedal. Needless to say, may be why I have Falkens on truck now. I also, when hit with rain deluges here, have been sideways and other more than a couple of times on TX roads, especially trying to get up on the Interstate and U end up doing a 360 when U punch it.

Made a little stainless sleeve to cover the hole. Its setting right now with 3M Weld Epoxy .

Used some Dupont Prep-Sol on the plastic and used a file to ruff it up to help with adhesion.

Just ordered the Specter Performance 3996 today as well. One less hose to run is always a plus !

Had a busy day, Figured out what I needed for the air intake as well as extended the wires.

To bad I had to put the 5.7 Intake back on, Not a single parts store in this ******** had what I needed.

Had to order a AEM 21-2047DK 3.5" Inlet x 7" Element Dryflow Air Filter from Amazon as the MOPAR one wont work. Im not using the original 4" piping and I dont really want to Frankenstein anything either.

My AC lines are also super tight against my TB, Will have to bend them back a wee bit. Brute force and ignorance should fix that. lol

Cut some brackets on the plasma table this morning for my new intake. :p and fabbed up a few parts for it as well. ( Yes I know they have ones that fit , But doing it for free is more my style ) and I really dont feel like re-routing my winch controller box , Battery tender and catch can either !

Amazon shipped my crap this morning. Should be able to put it back in next Saturday.

Love this hammered black paint, I literally use it on everything I make now... lol...

I was debating running 2 cans. I’ve decided I’m going to run a Second restrictor valve in the fresh air side to prevent reverse flow. It’s a 5/8” tube size on the fresh air side.
I know this is a couple years later, but do you have a part number for this 2nd restrictor valve you installed? I have almost everything onhand to mod my 6.4 intake; Both 1/4-18 NPT to 1/2" barb brass fittings (one straight, one 90 degree from Amazon), a 1/4-18 NPT tap, JB Plastic Weld, and a BT Catch Can kit that is already mounted to the front of the passenger side intake head. The PCV solution is the last thing I want to have before I drill the manifold.

I do not but I did use the factory pcv valve. Removing the restrictor from the factory pcv vslve caused a vacuum leak scenario so I had to reinstall an operation pcv valve. The second restrictor I installed is basically useless since reinstalling an operational pcv valve since they do the same thing

So let my noob mind ensure I got this right, for this CC setup to work as intended, I'll still block off the square opening with JB PlasticWeld, make it pretty and sealed good, then simply reuse the factory 6.4 PCV?

Absolutely correct. Make sure to point the arrow in the direction of the barb. It fits both ways but since you are blocking off the factory port you will want the pcv valve turned 180°

Just a little info to pass along. You no longer need to waste money on a truck 6.4L intake.

The 6.4 Grand Wagoner intake is 1/3 of the price and is the same.
