Very cool video. I miss the tracks I used to run at where you could make 10 passes in a night. Looks like fun.

Thanks! Tuesday's are pretty dead. Tried getting a Duramax to line up with me but he was scurd ;)

Did you manual shift??? Or just put it in drive and run it?? Either way, 355 and open diff that's a nice time.

Track was warm and there was a big NHRA event this past weekend so it was well prepped. Almost every pass I could go WOT right off the line until the sun went down. (2.1 60ft's during the day / 2.2s at night). Started in 1st, let the computer shift into 2nd (~6300rpms), then clicked the shift button to 3 so 2nd prime would hit at the shift point that Hemifever set (~6300rpms). Getting rid of the flowmaster muffler and installing the Mufflex y-pipe, I think, really helped with getting another mph in the 1/4 trap... 1/8th mile trap stayed the same as before (80-81mph).

I really wanted to beat my buddy's SVT at the track... So he gave me a 30roll on a back road, afterwards, and managed to put a half of a truck length on him by the top of 2nd prime. Way too sketchy to film it though.

Your going to love the LSD. One of my favorite mods to date. I did 410's and LSD at the same time, love my 410's but I run out of gear at the big end of the track. Got to shift from 2P to 4th because my RPM's are at 6500 and I have to shift and it falls on it's face when I do. But it does get off the line good:naughty: Your 355's I bet your crossing the traps in 2P still pulling hard; you add high stall TC and you'll be smokin out of the hole and burning down the track.
I'm hoping my TC will help with the big RPM drop once I get it installed.

Sean and Moe's Perf. keep playing with my emotions lol! They both want me to get gears so the power comes in easier with tuning and mods, but this thing is a top end beast. I know they are the full-on pros but top-end pull is something I've gotten used to with my import toy, which pulls to 180+ hard! I love the 3.55s, IMO, since this brick hauls my Baja to-and-from the lake. I'm hoping an adj. stall and full traction unleashes the HEMI without sacrificing my 45min, one-way commute, to the lake, with a 21ft boat in tow... But who knows, I might be all wrong about this. lol!

Going to 4.10's isn't going to give up any pull up top. Your overall top speed is going to come down, but how often do you plan to go 140+ mph? Going that fast is just begging for the transmission to let go anyways. I'd go with 4.10's and keep it below 120mph. You will get to 120mph much faster with the 4.10's than you are with your 3.55's.

I just meant top-end trap. I've already pulled a 13' RCSB 4x4, Diablo tuned, 8speed, 3.92 LS, with Magnaflow exhaust, from a 20 roll. He was way pissed. ;) Hammerhead is trapping 6 mph less with mods and gears? But your right; I've already pushed this thing to 145+, a couple of times trying to hang with new RT Challengers and Chargers... Only because my import is getting bullet proofed ATM. I def don't want to blow the tranny, and remember our convo, on the phone, about the rules and regs pertaining to then delicate 6speed :( I can tell I'm at a pivotal point now.

Good video, the fun thing in 6 speed trans is when pulling from 2nd gear to the end of 3rd gear you feel the truck will fly.:)
