Hi guys, going to be swapping my 5100s out for some 6112 this winter. I found them locally at a steal of a price. I’m curious as to where I should be setting them at height wise tho.

My 14 has a Zone 6” with the 5100s at 2.1 currently and has just under an inch of rake. Now here’s why I’m wondering, I’m running a bodyguard A2L bumper which i know is heavier than my stock sport bumper was. When looking at the setting chart it shows 2.6 inch lift at setting #7 and recommends not using 8 or 9. The ecodiesel can run those settings, I’m sure it’s because of the added vehicle weight.

Anyone know what the weight difference is between the hemi and ecodiesel? I’m considering setting 8 if it’s not a huge number. If I end up a hair high in the front I’ll add a spacer in the rear. Just concerned about keeping my angles in check. I will also be adding zone UCA’s at this time as well

How heavy is the bumper ? Contact Bilstein with your bumper weight and they should be able to tell you where to place the clip given the desired height. I'd think that If you're lifted 2" right now, #7 with the 6112's should put at 2.5", and #8 should be 3", granted they don't recommend such option maybe because it'll be too much preload meaning the shock won't operate as they designed it, but if you have enough weight on that bumper it shouldn't be a problem. Contact Bilstein first and see what they have to say.
