Had a 0-90 video but the stupid thing is an unsupported video type idk how the video above is the same format...whatever

Anyways really not impressed with the tuner....my 0-60 time stayed the same, (10 seconds) and my 20-60 time increased by 2 seconds.....pretty pissed honestly

What Matt says is important. Need to give the Tuner a couple days IMO to adjust and your Tire size needs to be dialed in. I dial in the speedo first using my GPS. When I had 35's the Tire size on the SC 33.75 or something like that, It takes a few adjustments, perhaps the speedo is way outta wack and with that time looks like you rolled or spun out.

The 91 Tune has a better low end torque gain than the 87 tune and you should notice it. I think your 0-60 should be 7.1-7.5 with the Headers. Did you do the TMR Delete cause that helps. Set the RPM limiter to 5900 and shift manually or do a 4 Hi 0-60 but it is hard on the shafts, if you get some shaking then the shafts are Not up to the task.

Danny, that was going to be my next post about fixing the speedo. If your speedometer isn't reading correct with the larger tires, it will throw the 0-60 times off in a bad way. A 10 second 0-60 time is a lot slower than stock, so there would either be a terrible problem with the truck, it is not getting the correct octane fuel for the tune, or the speedo is just way off to see that time.

Yes Matt the tire adjustment is Important for accuracy and some times I wanna call ******** on some of the SC posted 0-60 Times based on that but never wanna say that cause the Time may just be Bang on and Truthful. I can say my best of 6.08 at 750 Meters above was as Honest and close to the other Trucks at 5.6 sec I was chasing.

I was told at a higher sea level where I am I can get away with running 89 on the 91 but I don't do it. Currently on the 87 with my Truck and well the Car Nothing But the 91 and its a custom Tune with Data Logs adjusted by Stu so I am assuming thats what its set up for as I don't have access to any good or cheap 93 stuff, but I am straying Off Topic here.

Running 91 octane just put it in today as well as the tune. Is there an option in the tuner to set up the tire size? Im not familiar with tuners lol and i dont wanna go poking around blindly and screw something up, also since im actually running 315/70-17 so not quite a 35 should i select 35? Or are there other sizes i can select.

Also yes i did the tmr delete

And can i raise the limiter with the tuner i thought you couldnt do that with 03s?

Also can i adjust my governor so its not at the slow 105 anymore?

Yes, you can correct everything but the actual shift points. When you plug the tuner in, you will see optional setting that will allow you to raise the speed limiter, rev limiter, and adjust speedo for larger tires. The speedo being off is the reason why your times were so far off. Once you correct that, they are going to come way down. Also, if you have 93 available, try that next time. I never ran anything but 93 octane on my 03.

You cant adjust the shift point on your 03, but you can raise the rev limiter. I would raise the rev limiter to 6200, and try manually shifting the truck at 5900-6000. That is how I used to shift with my 03.

When you shift manually, you want to start the shift at about 5800 because it will take a half second or so for the shift to take place. This will keep you from banging off the rev limiter. Otherwise, go have some fun, and let us know what it does.

Yep a couple Hundred RPM pause, But with one of these below you can't blow a shift from 2 thru to N or Rrrr.

Edit: Sorry for jacking your thread Davey, but look at the final pics at page 6 of the thread and you'll get the idea, Crispy Upshifts right on the Money especially after you get your TQ and Cam and start playing around 6400 RPM its alot of Fun.
