Hi, I tried searching the forum but seems glitchy. I bought an 98 4x4 ram with 5.9 engine. I was told the transmission was going out. Drove it some and pulled the dipstick. Badly burnt. I did drain about 5 qts of fluid ( the prev owner changed the filter ) and installed new fluid. Drove fine. After a while the check engine light came on, overdrive light came on and then trans hot light.
If I need a new unit who has one forsale ? If I just need to change a few internals things let me know. I know this yr dodge is bad about trans issues. Thanks
