So, I've (finally) begun servicing my Mountaineer so that I can take the Ram out of service so I can tend to it's needs.
Now, the main thing the Mountaineer needed is new spark plugs. First of all, these are by FAR the worst plugs that I have ever removed from an engine. The ground electrodes were all half burned off and the insulator completely shattered on the first one I removed. With a bit of clever fanangling (big -1 to Ford for spark plug placement...) I was able to replace 6 of 8.
Yes, 6 of 8. 2 plugs on the passenger side don't want to come out. Now, when I stuck my spark plug socket on them, I noticed that they started spinning extremely (in other words, too) easily. After about a million spins on the ratchet, they are still "stuck" in the heads. A bit at a loss here...
tl;dr/off-topic, spark plug spins, but will not back out of the head. What does this mean?
