A deer has sped up my front end work..

As a new ram owner, I'm also new to the forum! I work 12's and would appreciate any help I can get as I don't have a ton of time to work on her.

I hit a deer this morning and I need some general help with lighting. I'm looking to upgrade the whole fixture(as the deer broke the driver side). I've read that for my year and body style(2000 sport), I need to look for a certain headlight. All bumper work is stuff ill find around, but id also like opinions on what look I might do.

My truck is white,and the idea is to get black housing headlights, black out the grill, and paint the grill inserts to white. Just throwing out ideas here, and I think it'd really make her stand out.

So I've found the headlights I need,waiting on those on those to come in. Now the bumper.. I have the sport model with fog lamps, and ill be damned if I can find a replacement. Any suggestions on good spots to look?

LMC has them but they are not cheap. I wish you luck trying to find a good used one, they are rare.

I've decided that I'm going to try and fix the one I have now,I think it's definitely worth a shot.but my headlights have feel through.. K2 motors is about completely impossible to work with, ill never be ordering from them again

Small update. I had enough time to put on the new grill.. And wow do I love the black. this weekend will include the new lights I got in, hopefully fixing the bumper, and a little bit of exhaust work. Thoughts on the black on white?

Just running stock halogens? I'm wondering how hid's would work with that style of lense

That's what I'm wondering myself. these are much brighter than stock though,I can tell ya that. I'm almost wondering if they would be straight up blinding everyone

Those are the same lights I had, got them from K2 as well. You can add HIDs to them.
I found this emblem and just used double sided tape.

Literally not even 5 minutes ago threw the emblem on. Next up is tires.. And the headache that ensues with shopping around and making sure on what I want.

Now, with tires out of the way..(General Grabber AT2's), does anyone know what I can use to fix the bumper? I can't say I care to buy a new one if I can fix this one.

**** I won't have deer issues. I hit mine a long time ago and now I have what I like to call a deer killer for a bumper.

I wish I could afford one, but id spend more on one than I paid for the truck.haha

I used a soldering iron and melted the plastic back together. Used pieces from another bumper cover to fill in.

I should have time to do this this weekend(hopefully), and no pieces are missing from mine, Just looks like frankenbeast the way I have zip ties holding it together. Did you solder the back side or do the front and sand it down?

Okay, I'm not trying to hyjack the thead but I have a quick question. Did you bring the deer home to eat..??
