All I want to do is permanently disable MDS and program fan on/off temps for the v6 fan swap. I don't want any performance tuning at all at the moment. What's the cheapest way to go about this? If the consensus is someone local, then I could use recommendations for someone in or around Houston.

Being a 2014, I don't think you need to unlock the PCM for tuning. That saves a huge cost/logistics hurdle IMO.

Pretty much anyone who has an HP tuners MPVI2 and has ever looked at the software will be able to accomplish your current tasks. You will still have to buy credits though...$50 each IIRC, not sure how many are required for your truck.

HP website says 2. So, $100 plus tuner's time. Seems completely reasonable. Now I just need someone around Houston. Thanks.
