Ok guys need some help! My air has stopped working, I replaced the blower fan, resistor, and dash controls. It came on and worked fine for about two weeks. After that it kind of surged like it had a short then just stopped completely. I am at my wits end with it and it's getting cold in the mornings! Lol

So when you turn it to whatever speed it does nothing? Does it sound like the motor is trying to turn at all?

Not now, it did when everything was replaced. Sometimes it would run when I turned it off and got out of the truck.

You say it stays on when you turn it off or you turn it off before you get out of the truck? I would maybe be thinking the bearing seized if you turn it on and listen right at the motor and hear it trying to turn.

The condensor fan, resistor and control panel are brand new. The hvac fuse is brand new. What I meant was that sometimes when I would turn the truck off, get out of it, the fan motor would still be blowing as if the truck were still going down the road with the air blowing. Now, it does nothing at all.

In that case it sounds like to me that the new resistor failed and should be replaced again. These resistors are a real pain cause they always go out from over current.
