Accessories work intermittently

2005 Doge Ram 1500 with some odd electrical behaviors:

• My accessories (stereo, outlets, etc.) work great sometimes, but sometimes they stay on AFTER the key is removed, and sometimes they don't come on at all even if the truck is running.
• I can jiggle the key when the truck is running and sometimes they turn on. Sometimes they stay on. Other times they turn off after a second or two.
• I can remove the key quite easily, without switching the ignition off, when the truck is running.

Could a worn out ignition switch be causing ALL of this? Anyone experience this and successfully fix it? Thanks.
