Accidents?

Hi all,
Just curious if anyone has had their Ram in an accident before and what was the damage? Stock or modified.

Whytram got backed into in its parking spot about 1 year ago by what appeared to be a delivery truck!? Basterd left a note with a bogus number, probably in case someone saw it happen!
Needed new Tailgate, bumper, deezee and passenger side rear bed paint repair.
Luckily missed my custom taillight
3600 to fix on my insurance

Dad borrowed my 2015 ram 1500 and backed into my sisters 3 day old 2019 ram.... Scuffed my bumper Alittle and bent her fender in 10 inches right at the fuel door. $2400 to fix and repaint the fender. I buffed my bumper and called it good. [emoji1787]

About $8000 worth of damage on a 2015 I had. Only had the truck a year, had about 7500 miles on it.

I got hit by a Phlying Phord PH150 doing 40 who blew the light, ripped the front off the truck and send me careening into a steel streetlight pole.

You can see the pole imprint. How did you make out?

Me personally? A few bruises and scrapes is all. Truck was totaled and I got a CTD to replace it.

Put a small dent in the front driver-side fender because I got stupid while doing a 300-point turn on a tight logging road, finding a small tree the hard way while I did so. Still have to fix the stupid thing.

Also had to replace the grille - twice, both due to suicidal animals... an owl creamed it the first week I had it, and a deer bounced off of it about a month before my wife gave in and gave me executive permission to get a grille guard. Grille has been fine ever since.

The dent can be seen right here (highlighted). I think I leave it in mostly to signal to fellow commuters that I don't care as much about my vehicle's fit-and-finish as they might, so maybe cutting me off on the freeway would be a bad idea...

(and more importantly, did the F-150 owner have to stuff what was left of his whole truck into that little hole in the recycling machine, or did they even give him the can deposit back on it?)

NE Portland in the Lloyd District. I-5 North exit to the Moda Center aka NE Victoria. He blew the light where the exit ramp crosses over NE Weidler.

The Phord was dead. He tried to start it up but it sounded like the engine was loose and rotating in circles under the hood. We looked and it was definitely off the engine mounts and on its side. Dead Phord for sure.

My Ram, on the other hand, ran and despite leaking fluids from every hose and orifice in the front, I was able to move it. As I was moving it out of the intersection and away from the street light post, I got an EVIC warning letting me know that I had a headlight out...10 minutes after the accident occured.

Son got rear ended in his 2018 2500 a couple weeks ago. Guy in an H2 Hummer didn't know how to drive in the snow. About $3500 damage. Needs a hitch, bumper, and repairs on both sides of the bed from the bumper hitting it.

Yep. There's very few collision shop repairs that are going to cost less than $2000 these days. For as shiddy as today's paints are, they are insanely expensive. Paint and labor are the majority of the costs.

I whacked a deer pretty hard with my 2017 Ram 1500 last year and cracked the heck out of the right side of my plastic express model bumper and fascia. Luckily the head and fog lamp assemblies didn't get damaged. The bumper impact chipped some paint off the edge of the F/R fender causing a rust spot there. I touched up the rust spot, yanked the deer hair out of the cracks in the bumper and it's still that way today.

I had a 1961 ford falcon wagon. People would see me coming and stop even when they had the green light. It looked pretty bad.

A few years ago I had an 03 Tahoe that ran out of gas while displaying 1/4 tank on the gauge. As I'm coasting closer to the gas station, the gauge drops, chime sounds, and cluster displays "low fuel". And I'm just shaking my head, "Huh, you don't say!?"
