I already have a few parts unused at home such as a new 2-ch bridgeable amplifier and a shallow mount subwoofer. My 2019 Classic Crew have the 8.4c uConnect radio, but with the base 6 speakers system. My goal is to make the easiest/cleanest subwoofer integration as possible, without disassembling the entire vehicle if possible...

My amplifier have speaker (high) level input I will connect to the right rear speaker, then it have a remote bass level knob coming with it for remote bass output control. However, the only thing I don't know yet, is were to hook the 12V+ remote amplifier turn-on to a switched (ACC/ignition) power source, only to turn on the amp with the radio, not to power the amp as well, as it will have it own 4GA power cable running to the battery... where would be the nearest and easiest accessible 12V+ ACC/ignition switched source in the vehicle?

My amplifier, so as my subwoofer box will be installed under the passenger's side rear seat with a custom box like this one, in fact the subwoofer box is the only thing I miss now, as I already have the amplifier, the subwoofer and the power wire kit/fuse/etc :

Thank you!!

The closest 12v power is probably the rear cigarette lighter but I’m not sure if it is switched power or constant. The best place to mount amps in our trucks is low on the back wall.

Maybe look into a LC2i which will take signal from both rear doors and then give you nice RCA outs for your amp. It may even have a remote power trigger, it’s been a while since I’ve looked at them.

Most of the newer amps that have high level inputs just automatically turn on when they sense a signal coming in. My cheap Walmart amp does anyways....

The rear "cigarette lighter" could be used, if your amp doesn't do this. It's set to ignition power on, by default.

Thanks folks, but I don't see any "cigarette lighter" plug on the back of my RAM, since I have the front bench seat (intentionally, because I needed a 6 passengers), I don't have a center console... my amplifier is the super cheap BOSS Armor AR1500 who's Amazon top seller of all time, but I can't see it's auto power-on in the manual...

One more question for you... on my amplifier I have stereo high inputs, however I'll run it bridged as monobloc 1ch amplifier... so do I really need to hook up both channels to rear speaker or a single side would be enough?

Thank you!!
My install is different as I have the 9.1 system.
I have the same box as you installed and the 500w alpine amp tucked nicely on the floor behind it.

Yes of course, there's plenty of space right behind the subwoofer box to mount an amplifier. My BOSS amplifier is not that much compact, but it have plenty of room anyway and the surface is perfectly flat too!
