So I was given a Factory sub that fits under my passenger side rear seat, I found the connector and plugged it in but nothing happens. I have two questions.

1) what do I need to make it work, amp, wiring etc (part numbers would be amazing)'

and

2) does anyone know where the sub woofer connection line runs to?

Thanks, New to the forum and my truck..

Much easier to add an aftermarket amp and sub. You are missing too many factory pieces to make the factory sub work (amps, wiring harness etc.)

Yeah, you'd be better off with an aftermarket sub. Something like a powered JL Audio micro sub, while not exactly cheap, it even has a built in amp to simply the install, and I believe the 8" model fits under the seat.

What year is your truck? The factory sub comes with the 9 speaker system and you’re missing many parts as others have said. Adding aftermarket would be easier but if you want factory I’ll be pulling my interior apart in a few weeks and can get pictures.
