Hello Everyone,

For my 14 Ram Express, I bought Sport Power Folding Mirrors and I got the Switch to make them power fold.
But now I need to know what are the part numbers to the modules on the doors.

I seen here on a previous post that there was 2 sets of numbers.
I seen a 14 R/T w/ Factory Sport Power Folding Mirrors and called the dealer with its VIN and they gave me another set door module numbers.

Here are the 3 sets of numbers on the modules.

Module Left: 68155771AD
Module Right: 68155770AD

Module Left: 68155773AD
Module Right: 68155772AD

Module Left: 68225103AC
Module Right: 68225102AC

So if I am adding OEM Sport Mirrors w/ Signal, Power Adjusting, Power Heated, Auto-Dim, Memory and Power Folding, which pair of modules will I need?

Thanks

Also interested to see how this goes. I want to get the towing mirrors, but I want them to function fully.

Were you able to have your dealer go through W.I.C get Chrysler to add the LER (power Folding) code to your Vin?

Since I work at Spyder, we are very cool with the service manager.
So I called him the other day and told him what I want to do and he said it is possible.
But maybe he never done it, I'm not sure.

So we are going to remove the code for the mirrors which is guk I think
And put gu4 Along with LER LEB and LEC.

But I'm stuck
I need to know what modules i need.

Ricks Ram, do you happen to know which modules I need to do the swap?

Did you find out what they are?

No, not me. Just figured I'd quote you to get your attention since the above posts are looking for updates. I sub'd for more info too.

Couldn't you use the VIN from a truck with those features at the parts counter to verify?

It looks like OBD Genie released a Genie for Power Folding Mirrors.
Looks like it adds 5 codes in total.
LEB, LEC, LER, GN5 and GNZ.

https://www.obdgenie.com/collection...power-folding-mirror-package-programmer-c-pfm

The one I'm interested in is LER since I have power folding mirrors that don't fold.
So at the price of $299 is it worth getting, or should i just get the AUTOENGINUITY scantool to add those codes and I guess have it for other diagnostics?

Can the power folding codes be added with the scan tool?

The power folding option (actually none of the mirror options) can be added by the AutoEnginuity. It should be possible, but there are bugs in their code that cause the options to be set incorrectly. Also, we have seen it irreparably corrupt other parameters in the BCM. At this point I no longer trust the tool for configuration changes and would not recommend it to anyone for that purpose.

As for the Genie, it works and it works well. I believe I was one of the first people to try it. The power folding was something I wanted and was worth shelling out the money for new door modules, but the value in the Genie for me was the AutoDim. I have light sensitivity issue and that was something I greatly missed from my previous vehicle.
