What fender flares did you go with?

They are oem 2500 style flares from Pro Tuning Lab. $100 for the 4 of them. Fit great just need a decent amount of pressure to hold them tight while attaching them.

Thanks. I'm starting to collect some parts and waiting to lift my rig. Looking to start with the fender flares, get some cab lights installed, bed lined or a liner, then finally the lift.

Again your truck looks great. Can't wait to get mine done. Gonna be a long haul though.

No problem! If I can help in any way let me know. I wish I did the lift from the get go and skipped the leveling kit. Thanks for the compliments!

Doesn’t want spacers on wheels

yeah right? Haha. Lesson learned on that one. I had wheel spacers on my lofted Cherokee from 2005-2008 with no problems. I really wanted to keep my stock sport wheels on the Ram but now that I have a wife and kids the risk isn’t worth it. I will never do a spacer/leveling kit again.

I love it, it’s the backbone of the whole front end. It has built in crossmembers to replace the rear dog bone style x member and the whole front differential sits in to the skid plate with custom brackets and bushings. That combined with the custom made knuckles drops the front end but keeps all the angles at factory geometry. It’s a really well designed kit but unfortunately it’s discontinued.

They are focusing on the 2500/3500 platform for Ram as well as Jeeps, Colorado/Canyon and Tacoma.

Looks like I waited too long! This one is on my short list. Are they selling them clearance priced??

Yes they did. I paid $1600 for a $2600 lift. They only had a few kits left and are listed as sold out now.

After two weekends of hell I finally finished installing my lift, as well as the CV axle repair kit from Rick Roods driveline in NS Canada.

The biggest problem I had was the drivers side lower control arm cam bolts were badly seized in the bushings. I spent over 10 hours trying to get them out and they wouldn’t budge. I ended up buying new bolts, nuts and a new lower control arm (no time for replacing the bushings in the control arm)

the differential repair kit was a breeze and was done in about an hour once I had the suspension removed and full access to the differential.

I loved my factory sport wheels but I didn’t want to use spacers anymore. I opted to buy the AEV Delta 20x9 wheels which are designed for this lift and truck with a 35x12.5” tire. Though I’ve had 35s since I did the rough country level kit it looks much better now with the tires not stuffed so much.

Truck looks great with the lift. How did you mount your light bar? To the bumper or with brackets through the grill?

Thanks man! Unfortunately it’s mounted directly to the bumper, through the plastic cover and in to the corrugated reinforcement below it with a pair of coarse theft proof screws. Been like that for years with no issues.

Dude it was some fast talking to the wife to make this happen. Almost didn’t make it. :D

Did some of my own fast talking and well now I have a problem. Found it for $1499 shipped. No way in h e ll I’m installing it myself tho. Comes with Bilsteins. Let’s see if I can pull a fast one too.
