After two weekends of hell I finally finished installing my lift, as well as the CV axle repair kit from Rick Roods driveline in NS Canada.
The biggest problem I had was the drivers side lower control arm cam bolts were badly seized in the bushings. I spent over 10 hours trying to get them out and they wouldn’t budge. I ended up buying new bolts, nuts and a new lower control arm (no time for replacing the bushings in the control arm)
the differential repair kit was a breeze and was done in about an hour once I had the suspension removed and full access to the differential.
I loved my factory sport wheels but I didn’t want to use spacers anymore. I opted to buy the AEV Delta 20x9 wheels which are designed for this lift and truck with a 35x12.5” tire. Though I’ve had 35s since I did the rough country level kit it looks much better now with the tires not stuffed so much.
