AFE power drop in filter

I ordered an AFE Dry filter for my 2019 limited part number 31-10071 and it does not fit. It is too large. The box says its for 2002-2019 dogde trucks. Did Ram change the size of the Hemi airbox for 2019? Or did AFE put the wrong filter in the box. Got ahold of AFE and they want my VIN and the OEM part number for the original air filter. Has anyone used a K&N filter with success in the 2019 model yet?

I can't verify if they changed the size or not, but my bet is that they did. You have to be very careful ordering anything that says it fits the 2019 if it is including any other years. Many times they are talking about the 2019 Classic, which IS a 4th gen truck, and not the new style 5th gen.

I ordered an AEM dry filter and it said 2012-2019 on the box but it dropped right in my new Laramie.

It’s part number # 28-20360 for the drop in.

I too ordered the drop in same part number fit fine which is the same as 2014 drop in was.
