of what flowmaster to buy, a 40 series or a 44 i finally picked one. A 14" magnaflow. lol I got sick of the Flowmasters rust out, they rattle, there to raspy, there not made for performance. So i went with the general "its freakn awsome" review of magnaflow performance and sound. Its gunn abe the longest 3-5 buisness days ever. I also still have my magnaflow y pipe that i never put on my 04. which brings me to my next question. since im doing bolth at the same time, who has put on the y pipe as a mod by itself? any noticeable gains? sound? thanks in advance. BTW 14" magnaflow $70 with shipping on amazon

sweet!!! i think you will like the magnaflow

as a stand alone mod, i don't think the y pipe really does much...its more 1 part of multiple mods to make a better flowing exhaust system.

Unless you're going to add headers, intake and tune (whenEVER they come out) I don't really see the factory Y being that big of a restriction.

I'd rather see ya save the money towards some ARH Long Tubes and true duals with an X pipe! (my dream setup, with a pair of Roush cans behind the bumper, LOVE the sound)

flowmaster BOOOOOO

and yeah factory why probably aint that bad at lower power levels. Also I agree its one in a series of mods that work together to get you the HP. Like said before tuner, headers, CAI, TB, they all work together. Good luck to you guys getting tunes.
