Is the directions suppose to work on all rams as mines a 2013.

Any other suggestions

The instructions are the same for 2009 to 2018, you are missing a step or something.

I have used this method on almost every Jeep, RAM or other Chrysler product that I have rented or owned in the last 7 or so years. Probably 30-40 vehicles. This method has never failed. The only difference is that I unbuckle/buckle 4 times instead of 3. Not saying that is required, just the way I do it

On my 2016 there is a setting for seat belt reminder module under the car configuration change menu. You could look yourself under your 2013 and see if you have one? I have no idea if it works, most of us have used the above mentioned procedure and it works fine. Mine is currently set to "not set" but like I said I changed it with the tried and true method above.

Quick question that hasn't really been talked about on CF, so I'll ask you tech geniuses here.

As I understand it, the 68rfe quick learn feature is accessible through AlfaOBD. Early this year I heard there was some trouble with it, but haven't heard if it has been fixed yet. I'm not able to play with it currently on my truck, as the trans is sitting on a pallet with some toasty clutch packs.

Any insight from you all?

From everything I’ve read about those that tried, everything goes fine until it requests to shift into overdrive, which we’re not exactly sure how to or what it means. Even the service manual procedure says that the witech pod will request to shift into overdrive, and I’d imagine the developer modeled the procedure off of the dealer scan tool procedure. I think the only way to figure it out is to actually ask an FCA tech what it’s asking us to do.

When doing the relearn I do know when it commands to "shift into overdrive", it's for you to put the truck in drive.

I wish I had access to a guinea pig truck to try it out.

Give it at least 24hrs. The UAQ/UAS radios take a while to read the BCM.

I installed LED parking and turn lamps today and I have a "Parking Light Out" message. I have turned LEDs on all the lights. How do I turn this off? I searched this thread and all I can find is to turn "Rear lighting DTC-SET" I can't find a setting for all rear lighting. Does that mean yes or no? Ive tried clicking both yes and no on the 2014 cbc i/o & feat front and rear park lamps open circuit disable. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Make sure that the turn and parking lights are set to led. Double check that it took.

Are they canbus compatible led's? I don't recall anyone using non canbus compatible led's and not having to use a resistor even with alphaobd. I could be wrong.

I don't know if changing polarity would change anything

They are just el cheapo LEDs. I’ll pick up some canbus ones I guess. I thought the settings would clear it...

edit-I picked up some Sylvania Zevo bulbs and they work great.. Thanks

That's great. As far as I know you are the first person to get it to work with the RA2 radio. Is the option to turn it on an off in your settings menu on the radio yet?
Cool.

Following the first engine start after programming the RA2 rebooted, then the option to turn auto high beams on or off showed under lighting. The cluster showed activation/deactivation messages when on was selected, and the high beams acted as they had originally when off was selected.

Vc1 Auto highbeam – changed from no to yes
LIN & Misc: Smart Beam Present (AHBM)- changed from no to yes
2014 CBC I/O & Features: Auto High Beam Module Location – from none to “ECC_AHBM"
Customer Set Menus: Auto High Beam CSM - from no to yes

After changing the perimeters with Alpha I selected disconnect, turned the key from run and removed key from ignition, opened driver door, locked doors using FOB, waited for gauges to go dark. Unlocked using FOB, opened driver door, the inserted key and started.

Guys, I installed HID. I used alfaobd to turn on high-intensity discharge headlights and bi-xenon headlights. The headlights are normal when the vehicle engine is running, but the headlights are turned off after one second when the engine is turned off. For example, when the door is unlocked, the headlights are opened and after one second turned off, and most of them are on the right side. Sometimes both are like this. Guess is that the body computer detected a fault and cut off the power supply.Does anyone know where the problem is? In addition, can you change the fog light when you change the unlock?Greatful

I don’t think bi xenon should be turned on if you have factory projectors with HID kit. Secondly, I had a similar issue on the passenger light, turned out to be a bad igniter.
