I have a EVIC from what I was told a 13
With my OBD reader I can change almost everything I've asked it to do but still can't get the milage changed. Tried several ways

I had the 3" before
Is there a setting to turn on for the 7" screen

It seems right now alphaobd is a little buggy when it comes to mileage correction. It works first try for some, after multiple times for some and not at all for others. Only thing to do is keep trying and if it doesn't send the dev (Alexey) a debug file and tell him that the mileage correction doesn't work

I just did mile correction on my 2014 cluster. It worked only with the MX not with my generic elm blue tooth obd. But now I am having issues of it keeping the correct miles. Everytime I shut the truck off it clears the 10th then it catches its self up when I drive so it's a little glitchy that's for sure.

So far I've been able to update using veepeak obd

*Tow mirror
*Tow mirror light
*Tow mirror signal
*Tow mirror puddle light
* Tire size
*Garage door over head console
*Global window down

Biggest thing not working for me is
Milage

I tried splash screen one it didn't work either

Try to slow down your baud rate sounds like the obd link is taking to long to change the milage. Mine did the same thing until I bought the MX then it worked just fine.

I was trying to program a new rfhub but never got it to work.
I enabled remote start on this hub model number 68245480ad
enable vehconfig 1-remote start present
enable hood switch(hood ajar switch input present)
and enable CBC Features- VTA Hood Ajar Monitor
did remote start temporary disable and then set it back to original value.

using the standard goofy looking fobik(baseline"lock unlock panic" replace the rubber insert to have the remote start logo and
after moving the truck it started working.
No new fobs required or rfhub with remote start antenna connection.

Just thought it might help someone

Wow I didn't notice that. Good catch! I'll return those and get the kit. I'll get back with you all once it comes in and I've had a chance to do this all over again! Woohoo!

I just installed the new kit. Still doing the same thing. Blinks 3 times then doesn't work. Do you think this is one of those situations where I need to be patient and cycle the truck a few times? I have LED fogs turned on and Bi Xenon headlights enabled. I'm at a loss.... Maybe I should switch to LED fogs?
BTW, it's a 2016 Laramie 1500

If you turn on the HID setting do you still need to enable Led fogs ?

Is that is all that’s needed to Make all the changes and upgrades? Is this the best one?

@Letsndy you need the MX or MX+, the Alfaobd app for windows or android plus 2018 and newer 4th Gen trucks also need a security bypass harness from @DeereGuy you can find him in the vendor section here listed as M2 Mods.
As far as the MX or MX+being the best, read post one of this thread about it being the recommended dongle. (see below)

MX vs MX+
***The MX+ is supposed to be slightly faster, comes with Enhanced Diagnostics Add-on and works with iOS devices. The price difference is only like $10. If you already have the MX the only major reason to change to the MX+ is if you want to use it with iOS(There is no AlfaOBD on iOS).*** Thanks @crash68

While there are other ways of connecting to your BCM with AlfaOBD, the above OBDII adapter has been tested and is preferred.

That’s the one that recommended so that’s the one that I bought and it works just fine.

So the Mx+ is not alfaobd? Sorry I’m new to this. So I have a 18 rebel so I’m good there. Do you know what the app is called on iOS? Nothing is popping up under alfaobd

Alfa is only Android or windows. No iOS.

You MX+ Will connect to iOS to read codes and such, but will never work with Alfa.

Sorry, best bet is a cheap Android tablet.

Good luck.

MX+ is a tool and AlfaOBD is an app, they are 2 separate and different items purchased from 2 different vendors. You need both items, PLUS 2018+ RAM trucks have a security feature that requires that you additionally purchase a bypass harness from M2 Mods in order to make any changes.

Your 2018 Rebel needs all 3 items to be purchased. Sounds like a lot but it's well worth it and about the cost of 1 trip to the dealer to add one option.
