What setup are you running?

I was running those. Went back to the katana led's for now. $40 on Amazon. I feel they are just as bright as the 35w hid's

Just got my OBD & Alpha obd app

So I installed overhead console with garage door but the button do nothing.

So.....
Is there a setting I can turn on thought the Alpha app to make them work

Did your truck come with the overhead console? If it did and your truck is a 13 to 18 it should work plug and play. If it didn't come with the overhead console you would need to add all the correct wiring and enable the (Electronic Overhead Module) EOM code in the lin and misc section with the alfa tool in your BCM, Also if your truck is a 13 or newer it takes a different Homelink/Compass module than the 09 to 12. The 13 and newer takes part# 68105822AB.

No it didn't.

It 2014. I took the complete wiring that ram to the side by the door for everything in the top. ie. Both visor mirrors, the dome lights, center console with garage door. I'm also running the 7" evoc cluster with all the boxes that came with. I also took the self dimming 911 mirror but my truck didn't have phone so not worry about that.

I’m using the same kit @SitKneelBend posted for my low beams. I see the difference now. Yours are DC ballasts, and ours are AC digital ballasts. The DC ballasts are just to unstable on startup, and the current probably spikes too high.

Wow I didn't notice that. Good catch! I'll return those and get the kit. I'll get back with you all once it comes in and I've had a chance to do this all over again! Woohoo!

Make sure to get the right bulb type and color temperature. The link I posted may have my selections that are for an aftermarket set of lights.

No it didn't.

Then you will need to enable the code in order for it to work. You should also enable the Compass Heading present code and it should come up on your EVIC.

I just did the swap from to a 2014 7 in evic in my 2015 ram. Everything works great but I have tried multiple times to change my odometer and it will not take. The evic will flash continental and reset but nothing changes. I have followed all the tutorials and the video on you tube. Also on the 4th Gen ram page they are telling me it can't be done with alfa . Please help

Ramshig, I added a 2014 7 in evic in my 2016 Ram 2500 a few weeks ago. After installing the cluster I successfully programmed my mileage and hours with Alphaobd, my OBDlink mx adapter, and my android phone. I programmed the mileage first, turned the key off and removed the alphaobd from the truck. I waited 10 minutes then plugged my Alphaobd back in turned the key on and waited for the cluster to initialize, then I programmed my hours, turned the key off and removed the alphaobd from the truck. I waited 10 more minutes then turned the key on and both were set.

I just bought a new obd mx also I downloaded the newest version of alfa Obd so I will try again Monday when I get my new obd mx. I just hope my links well radio doesn't have any effect on programming the miles I know it has a can bus of its own and it functions well with the new evic. I just don't want to send in my evic if I can program it myself.

That radio should have no effect. I programmed many things with one installed.

With led low/high beam set to no, did you get a error message on those? Or only the parking lights

FINALLY! It seems that the s/w does not display well on my Dell/Windows tablet. On the connect page, the word "LANGUAGE" (for english), is displayed over top of the COM port and thus it seemed that it was unable to change the com port to any other port number than 1. Once I was able to get that display changed so that I could get a drop down in the COM dialog box, it showed COM3, which I changed to and WAL.LA!! It now works. HURRAY!!

Now comes an interesting question. Has anyone seen any place that might show where to change the AERO mode to take affect at a lower speed than 63mph? I would like to see it changed to around 50-55mph if possible.

Every once in a while I get a bulb out too. I can see it is working and have set LED in Alpha also.

It does it to mine on the turns when I have the headlights on. Think I might just throw some resistors on, see if that does it.

Try the settings I had r84boomer try. They fixed my issues. Resistors will work.

Try turning turn to no and parking to yes

So I have these headlight and I’m getting lamp out message when the headlights are on because these are switch backs. So the white led goes out. Any idea how to correct with alfaobd? I have already changed settings for led turn signals and led park lamps but still get the message. See
