Check the Baudrate in settings. It should be this.Purchased alfaobd was running an elm wifi device but would not update configurations from my android so I ordered a elm327 mini bt running v2.1. It is giving me a CAN error and will not connect to my BCM. Any advice?
Those have been reported to be junk for working with AlfaOBD. Just get the recommended OBD Link and be done with it. Some have reported success with “some” changes, but not all, with a BAFX.Purchased alfaobd was running an elm wifi device but would not update configurations from my android so I ordered a elm327 mini bt running v2.1. Its probably for the best...Went through all that when I set up everything
Going to bite the bullet and order obdlink
Thanks everyone!
Installed the S-V.4 HEDs into the Highs of my 2018 projector housing ..... This definitely took a little work with the Dremel tool on the housing!!!
Used my MX+ and AlphaOBD for the first time!
Only issue was that I was only able to find where the green connector hooked in (just like an Autel bypass I had used before) but want able to connect the white connector. All seemed to work well.
I was able to:
Enable HID, Enable LED High Beam (just for the heck of it), Disabled Fog Light Dropouts, and Disabled the annoying Seatbelt Warning. Thanks everyone here for help!!!
Hopefully HID Lows arrive tomorrow
Its probably for the best...

Thanks I'll look againThe green wire goes in the white plug and the white wire goes in the green plug. If we didn't have 60 mph winds, Id take a pic. It's all in the same area.
The 0 reading, I believe, is your overall mileage, and I assume the others are trip values. If you don't use them they got reset near the time the truck was first put into service.I pulled info from my ecm. There are 4 lines on information for mileage? Which one is the actual mileage and why are these lines all different?
Odometer Location 0: 89096.19 miles
Odometer Location 1: 89071.62 miles
Odometer Location 2: 89079.81 miles
Odometer Location 3: 89088.00 miles
I had a problem with that as well, it was a setting in the alphaOBD software that changed around last summer when I did my fogs so the on/off setting was different than others had used in the past. Unfortunately, my screenshots were local on my old phone that crapped out and I lost everything. MPGRIMM2 helped me find the right setting, maybe he remembers it. Sorry I can't help more.Worked like a dream. Still no fogs tho. Any ideas on that? I installed 4 pods.

I don’t think the trip mileage goes any further than the cluster itself. I would think those are recordings from the 4 wheel speed sensors, since those are where the mileage and speed come from. The 0 reading, I believe, is your overall mileage, and I assume the others are trip values.
