Well I have the puddle lamps and the side view mirrors with the turn signals. In my BCM settings PUDDLE LAMP PRESENT is NOT SET, yet the very lights you reference work on my truck when unlocking the doors. If they were the same setting then my puddle lamps would not work since according to the BCM readout on my truck they are not set.
You should have a setting called “mirror approach lights-set”. That would be the “puddle” lamps on ram trucks, since that is what they’re always referred to as when talking about the ram mirrors. Maybe there are FCA vehicles out there that have puddle lamps under the doors somewhere that shine to the ground, and that would be what puddle lamp present is for?

Have not and today/tomorrow I will be unable. My Ram does not fit in the garage and work outside and has been raining here.
Plus need to know how to connect to the door module?

In the initial screen where you choose Body Computer, instead of choosing Body Computer you can drop down the list and there should be one for Driver Door.

Note if you dont have an OBD MX interface, you wont be able to connect to that module without a harness adapter since the CAN-IHS (Interior High Speed) communicates on different pins of the OBD connector in the truck.

Any way to start the AC fans while the truck off? Can't seem to find the option in the active diagnostic dropdown

Jimmy...could very well be a setting used for other FCA vehicles. It is just baffling that the side view mirror turn signals cannot be turned on as a side marker light. Like RicksRam mentions, the turn signal lamp comes on at a high intensity when flashing just like the park lights do when activated as a turn signal. There should be (somewhere) a setting to turn these lights on at a low intensity like the park lights.

Ghost_Ram......there MAY still be hope. There ia ANOTHER setting that I found. Its under DOOR CONFIGURATION, right near the GLOBAL DOWN setting. Its: PUDDLE LAMP PRESENT. Do you have this also set?
Yes, I have that one set. I think I had to set it to enable my puddle lamps below my mirrors.

Ok, so I went ahead and enabled side repeater output present, side repeaters enable and I already had side mirror repeater used as side marker. Can not locate control-side repeaters anywhere in my BCM.

Truck sleeping now and will report back but I’m not feeling too optimistic.

I have a feeling all those settings apply to the Fiats and such as my old one had the little side makers.

Can not locate control-side repeaters anywhere in my BCM.

It was under the very first section in the log readout on mine, I haven't looked for it in the Change Configuration section while hooked up though.

ECU Qualification:
Control-Side Repeaters: No

I'm kind of confused.. I have the OBDLink MX Bluetooth, and the demo of alfaobd.

Do I need to buy the full version before I'm able to see "car configuration"?

I'm going to try to get fogs + high beams together working. I think I read this somewhere, but wasn't going to buy until I saw the setting.

You would need the full version to get this option. It was the first change I made.

Got it. I was in the wrong page in alfaobd. Ghost Ram's instructions are on page 8 for anyone else trying to figure it out.

Yup, tried it, didn't work for me either. :(

Now, what I haven't tried yet is messing with the other Side Repeater options that are in the BCM. Not sure if @Ghost_RAM has played with them though.

I actually think that they are for the small side marker lights that the 3500 Dually's have. I haven't seen anyone on this thread with one though to have them check.

No go on side makers for mirrors after over a day. Also, I still did not find Control-Side Repeaters in the BCM. However, when checking the log it was set. I believe because I set both side repeater settings.

Current 10/14:
Control-Side Repeaters: Yes
Side Repeaters Output Present: Set
Side Repeaters Enable: Set
Side Mirror Repeaters used as side markers: Set

Before I was only throwing one code (U112E Lost Communication with Cargo Camera) due to the cargo camera. Now I also have the following:

Error code: B17F5
Right Mirror Signal Lamp Control
Short circuit to + battery/Open circuit

Error code: B17F4
Left Mirror Signal Lamp Control
Short circuit to + battery/Open circuit

These of course are present because I don't have the correct equipment. Only thing that make sense to me. Reverting back to remove codes. Oh well...

Definitely enable small groups if not individually when doing this. Allow the truck to sit, key out, doors locked and away from the vehicle for at minimum 5 minutes. Some settings will also take much longer to take than others and different year trucks (older) also take more time for some settings.

What you have listed is for the exterior mirrors. The smart beam mirror and puddle lamps are two separate items. Puddle lamp present is located about midway down the list if I remember correctly. It is very easy to skip over.

The smart beam mirror is part of the Auto High Beam.

Auto Highbeam

Select “yes”

Interior EC Mirror Present

Select“yes”

Smart Beam Present (AHBM)

Select “yes"

Auto High Beam Module Location

Select “ECC_AHBM"

Auto High Beam CSM

Select “yes”

All the above of course is dependent on the correct hardware/wiring being installed.

Both Cummins
Installed a Z-Automotive FCA bypass module (in my 2018 CTD) and programmed the TPMS thresholds down to 48psi. Dropped the tire pressure down. No Tire light! Yay!! This is the main thing I wanted the AlfaOBD for. Most of the rest of the stuff people are doing my tradesman doesn't have.
