Just unlocked my doors via fob and puddles still not working.

Also, on the android version how do you close out of a module when you’re done? On my phone there is only the back arrow which takes me back to first screen. Is that normal?

Thanks

Do your other approach lights work (headlights/park lights illuminate).

You can click the “key” at the bottom left and then disconnect. Then if totally closing out, hit the back button until it says exit.

Yes all other lights work as approach, as set.

MAR is the run position without engine running? Most of the changes I’ve made have been with key in accessery position, and they’ve all worked.

It’s been pretty much determined that it works either way. I’ve always put in MAR/Run position.

Taking my mother to a doctors appointment here in a couple hours and I’ll start doing some digging when done.

I'm definitely curious to see how this one works out. If it does work it's gonna be pretty strange rolling around in an Express with rain sensing wipers!

Ghost.....hope you take some pics of this and do a write up! I want to do this as well. That is right after I get my memory seats to function and maybe try installing memory mirrors. Which leads me to let everyone know that an update to the Alfa Program is coming in about a week. I pasted below an email exchange between Alexey and me which should explain it:

Alexey....hi....have been using your great program (android version) to make many changes to my 2017 Ram 2500. Everything has gone smoothly. I have recently installed heated / ventilated seats into my Ram and enabled them with your program. But I have not been able to activate the memory portion of the seats. There are 2 settings that should be in the BCM. They are:1) “Memory Seat Module” (MSM)-and note this setting is NOT the same as “Memory Seat Present”; 2) “Comfort Seat Wheel Module” (CSWM). Both of these settings have to be marked "SET" in the BCM.

Can you add these BCM setting functions into your program? From what I can find about these settings, they are both in the "Programmed ECUs: Cabin Network". Thanks for your time and your great program.

Thank you, I see that the "Programmed ECUs: Cabin Network"
is missing, sorry. Will fix it in the next update, in about
a week.

Best regards,
Alexey

Thank you! Trying to get up with my buddy for this coming weekend if not before. While I have a garage, it’s not heated and I want to do this as close to right as possible. Going to setup a little makeshift clean room with heat lamps for proper adhesion of the pad and to keep dust/debris at bay.

That's good news. Are you going to run all the wiring and give it a shot? I still have the jumper wires I used to connect to my door module when I attempted to get my memory seats to work in the past, plus my seat module is already connected to the CAN system. When the update comes out I'll activate that code as well and hook up my jumpers and see what happens. Can't hurt to try.

Going to give it a try depending on a couple of things. First, getting the harness from DeereGuy with the necessary wires (4? #5 #6 for can bus and #2 #13 for memory feed?) that go from the yellow plug under the driver's seat to the canbus and door module. He is in the process of making this for me, plus hopefully some instructions on how I tap into that canbus block that is behind the driver kick panel behind the parking brake. Then I need good weather to attempt wiring into the door module, my Ram will not fit in my garages since its too tall. I also need to find out how much those memory mirrors are. I will be sending a message to Benny at AllMopar and see how that goes. Any insight from others is always welcomed............

As far as the memory mirrors go I would definitely find them used before I bought them new. They are quite expensive. Plugging in to your CAN Bus by the parking brake as extremely simple. If you just pop off the little cardboard cover it's right there. The harness deer guy makes you for the number 5 and number 6 pin to the CAN is a simple plug and play. As far as the pins that go to the door module I'm not sure where he's going to have you connect to that at on the door module side. I actually just pulled my door panel and spliced into the two wires at the actual plug just to see if it would work. Shouldn't be to hard to trace down were they terminate and go from there. As I said earlier once In tapped into them at the door module with no success I didn't go any further a that point.

Has anyone successfully added tow mirrors to a 18? I'm in need of some help! I purchased a set of tow mirrors from 1a auto which worked great except for the flip up orientatin. After I got everything here to get up and running I enabled the tow mirror feature, orientation flipped up or down works great but now I have 0 ambient temperature reading and a check engine light. I reversed the feature but still have the same issues. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Sounds like they may not be compatible. I know earlier models did not have the sensor.

Check to see if you have the following. "Ambient temperature sensor present" is not set and the "Ambient temperature sensor location" is not defined.

Here you go. If you haven’t already, it would be a good idea to create a backup of your config and upload it to Google Drive. The instructions are in the first post.

I see now it has an option for either CBC or DCM for the location. Not sure how to make it revert to not defined.

Upload your config when you can but you can also click on the "status/faults" and then "read system ID" to see what the current setting is. You have to scroll quite a bit which is why it is easier to upload and check it on a PC.
