No mine are different.

Morimoto XB LED Headlight / Foglight bulbs

Per the page, his are up to 2300 lumens and the one I listed are up to 3000 lumens and 60$ cheaper.

Probably because his are 6k and the retroshop ones are 5k.

I'm looking into these too. And I usually only use my fogs during bad weather. Is that price ($100) per bulb or for a pair? If it's per bulb, DAMN!... If it's for a pair, then it's not all that bad.

Random question, are these HID kits from say retroshop similar to like xenon lights on lexus vehicles or other xenon oem equipped vehicles? Reason I ask is sometimes I see people driving with these super bright blue headlights that to me look way too bright and also kinda tacky as well. I would imagine for the price these HID kits are brighter than our stock projects but clearer and with a touch of white or even slight blue compared to those blinding ones I see people (mostly teenagers) running on their vehicles.

The reason for the extensive glare is because they're putting HID bulbs in a non-projector housing. When HIDs are put into the correct housing they do not create that bright glare especially when aimed correctly.

The blue comes from their choosing of kelvin. The higher the kelvin the bluer it gets, it even goes to purple. Also, the higher kelvin you go the more light output you lose. 4300k are the brightest but a lot prefer the white look of 5000k which are a little less bright not very noticble between the two.

Gotcha, yeah I knew as you go higher they get that bluer color, but wasn't sure if these I've seen where the HID kits discussed here. I like the look of the projectors I've seen on some of the challengers, I guess those are stock HIDs?

Awesome, so these HID kits at 4300k would look similar to those? The ones I've seen look really good, very clean bright light!

So has anyone used a set of the RetroShop LED's in a low beam yet, specifically a projector low beam? I'd just like to know what distance you can get with these in a headlight. Anyone know if they will fit behind the projectors dust cap?
