I searched the threads and found one instance of a similar issue on a Cummins. I have swapped out my alternator and within three days, it is giving out. It is a reman, but seems unlikely that I got a bad break. It’s the exact same issue as the original. I hav measured resistance on grounds, battery and alternator cable. They are measuring within limits. I am stumped. Anyone have this issue or know of a fix? Battery is also brand new. For good measure, I am going to run new ground cables and a new alternator cable. I’d love to hear your ideas. Belt tension is good. Pulleys turn smoothly. No wobble on any pulleys. Oh yeah, brand new SERP belt. Thanks in advance.
