Ram 2017 1500 Sport. I replaced my Ambient Air Temperature Sensor and I clear the Engine Light and after 10 Miles of driving Engine light comes back on and my Monitor shows outside air is -40 . I am assuming I probably have a short or something in the wiring harness. I have looked in My owners manual but I can’t find the fuse that supports the Sensor Does anyone know what fuse I need to be checking because Hopefully all it is. Is a Blown Fuse and nothing else

Would think a blown fuse would cause the display to be blank. What code do you get when running diagnostic?

Did you replace it with an OEM sensor, or aftermarket. Rams tend to not like aftermarket sensors.

Test it, and if you have the original test it too.

At around room temp, there should be about 10 kiloOhms across the pins.

-40 seems to be a common reading when there's an open circuit, or dead sensor.
