I have been watching Larry on Youtube and he seems IMO pretty dasmn good at detailing and knows a lot!

I am curious if anyone has used his products. They seems on the more expensive end like Adam's prices or maybe a tad higher. Now I believe in paying more for better but not throwing money away. I will say I am supremely impressed with the Adams VRT Tire/vinyl treatment/shine I bought.

Anyways I have been watching his vids about his theories on scratching your paint. He is claiming as long as you do everything right as in 3 bucket wash method (one for wheels too) and everything then he says drying your rig is where the scratching happens. He has a product called "Hydrate" that you spray 3-4 misting sprays on your rung out wet microfiber rag then wipe and dry. He talks about providing a layer of 'lubrication' between your rag and clear coat which also helps give it shine like a finishing spray.

He also has one called Ammo 'Skin' which is a paint selant and numerous other products.

Anyone tried his stuff?

I have never used Larry's stuff. Adam's is a little more economical for me. I use Adam's detail spray exactly like Larry uses his Hydrate. Works great. If i get some extra cash, I will probably test Larry's stuff. I have the same OCD as Larry, so his videos amaze me with his attention to detail, and his way of explaining his way of detailing.

I'll keep my opinion short and sweet. His products are good quality, but far too pricey. You can find products that work great for 1/3 of the price.

I never tried his product but after watching his videos it looks like he makes a decent product. However I will say that he is on the pricier side. I never tried using detail spray when drying the car, I have to give that a try.

x2 on this! Also you can buy products in larger quantities with much cheaper pricing per unit through distributors, another way to save a bit...

mequires professional series.

1 gallon sizes, that can be diluted if you want.

This will give you the results your looking for at a fraction of the cost of AMMO

I like larry's videos alot too, the man is very good at what he does, but for the average joe, its hard to beat the meguires professional line
