Amp For 10" Sub

My truck came with a Kicker 750 watt amp under the drivers seat. I currently have a 10" Kicker CVR. What's the biggest amp I can run without messing up my sub? Or is 750 good enough?

750 is probably enough. I have a RF P3 which peaks at 1000, I'm running it off of a 300.1 mono amp. Its enough. I would guess your sub should handle that wattage.

10" CVRs are 600W RMS at 2ohm, if memory serves me right.

Whats funny is when I got the truck I knew he had a system in there but he took it out. I didnt know there was an amp under the seat til one night had the truck on for like 2 hrs listenin to the radio on accessory and it killed the battery. I was like wtf til I finally found it hahaha! I dont know if he forgot it or just left it there on purpose

I ran 2 10" CVXs with my old 750. AND...........I ran it at 4ohm, so it was only pushing 375W to the pair. It was still loud as hell (it was in a 3.5 cu ft vented box!) - during testing.........cops came. I was in my father in law's shop's basement. It was LOUD!

I run a single 10" on a 400.1 and I rarely turn the gain past 4. It just depends on what you want to hear.

Well cool! I have a ported box behind my seat, seems to do good, but in the future I was wantin to do some sort of custom center console waterfall effect and wasn't sure about all the audio parts of it. Guess it'd help if I had a better idea of what I wanted LOL
