Synthetic oil change every 2,000 miles......that's crazy

I do mine every 3K, thinking about dropping it down to 2.5K or even 2K as my 4.7L comes closer to hitting 500K.

Normal oil change for dino oil is 3k........1 of the reasons for going to synthetic is for longer intervals between changes

It got this far already on whatever you were doing before. I would keep on doing that. I dont think decreasing the oci at this point would return any measurable engine lifespan increase.

Unless of course you say its black like the night by 2500 miles then by all means change away haha
