My 2015 sport is lifted and I want to do a custom tune. Is there anything out there yet that can help me adjust for the 35's AND/OR give me some tuning freedom?

i was poking around diablosport's website last night. their forum mentions they are making progress but it looks like for the 15 jeep, at least, you have to replace whole ECM; effectively doubling the cost of entry for a tuner. i hope thats not the case for Ram, but it may very well be. :puke:

There's a thread in here somewhere discussing this. Matt from Moe's said that's what it's looking like for the '15 guys too.

Looks like all 2015and newer vehicles are going to have to get their PCM unlocked before it can be tuned. You can either send your PCM into Diablo to unlock it or buy a PCM from them that is already unlocked.

Or you can make a bench harness and do it yourself with alientech....

Seems like there may be a market to unlock ECM's....If its the same encryption as the Cummins (13+) bully dog may be coming out with a cable to unlock it as well.

Thanks all, I am hoping someone preferably Diablo figures out how to program with the encryption rather than replacing the PCM. I will try and remain patient but not very good at it. lol

+1... i'm going to try to wait it out for a bit I can't justify dropping $1200-$1300 just to tune my truck!

This sucks. I sure hope they can figure a way to get tunes without a new PCM. I wonder why Ram has made it so hard.

deter tuning and to avoid warranty claims would be my best guess!

It's in their better interest to let us tune them and then they dont have to pay out warranty claims! So bass ackwards...

This has been ******* me off for 2 months now. Bought my new truck at end of February and bought the Diablo Intune only to find out that it will not work cause they can't crack the code. I thought how can it not work seeing as its the same engine as the 2014 but was wrong and now have a useless $500 paperweight.

You can flash the truck with zero issues. It's the pulling of the stock tune that's the issue. So it's either stay stock or stay tuned until a data base of stock tunes is built. Once there is a database of stock tunes it will be available. It's just a matter of time before it goes back to how it was.

Wait...

Does this mean that you can tune a 2015 but it just can't go back to stock? Also, if that is the case, can you turn off the cylinder deactivation instead of using the +-?

Any updates on this? Is Diablo selling the additional PCM with prices listed? Do they have a procedure in place for sending your own into them?
