Three dings = red light camera warning on nav system. Just found that out after driving around the city that I normally seldom drive in.

2018 ram tradesman. Sometimes I'm driving and I get a random ding. Sounds like the seat belt warning to be honest.

I can't recreate it. It's annoying as hell. Any ideas?
It's dinging to inform you of an event that doesn't have a indicator lamp or a message associated with it.

A scanner should find a fault code related to it.

It's a red light camera notification coming from the Navigation on the Uconnect.

Well, I've been testing this since I, too, occasionally get a mysterious 'ding' after a first start.

I've used the truck four times without having my cellphone with me and it does not ding. When I've put the cellphone back in my pocket and start the truck, it dings. Of course, there could be other reasons as well. Someone mentioned a 'Favorite' music detected on Sirius, and I believe that is true.

Seriously, I agree with the seatbelt theory. Might have a faulty sensor.
