So this tsb states that 03 calipers might be different than 04 and newer 1500s if Im reading this right? Google AI mode says

"Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 05-003-04 is a brake shudder/vibration repair for 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. It specifies 2003 models only because Dodge significantly updated the front braking system (calipers, rotors, and pads) for the 2004 model year, making the 2003 components unique. Rotor and Caliper Changes: The 2003 Ram 1500 was originally equipped with a specific braking setup that was prone to uneven pad wear and heat-induced rotor warping, which caused severe pedal vibration during stops.

Is there any truth to this? I just went to the junkyard and got like new calipers, mounting brackets and like new pads from a 03 1500 to put on my 04 1500 because the boots are ripped on the caliper pistons. I had the rotors that were on my 04 turned to reuse them. They seem to fit fine? Is this going to be an issue? Its the first time ive heard of this?

Good question. I'd find the two years parts manuals and compare part numbers. I never found out, I replaced one set of brakes on my 2003 then upgraded it to 2005 SRT brakes.
